If you are found not to have a limited capability for work-related activity, you are placed in the work-related activity group. In this group, you must meet work-related conditions. If you fail to meet the conditions, a sanction may be applied. See Chapters 17 to 19 for details.

If you are placed in the work-related activity group, you get a lower rate of ESA than if placed in the support group and the award of it will be limited to just 12 months (see 13 below ).
