Summer accommodation grant
Students who were in local authority care may get a grant of £1,330 if they rent accommodation, or £665 if they stay with friends or family (2024/25), to help with accommodation costs during the long vacation.
1 Income is not assessed and the grant is not repayable. It is usually a one-off payment in advance.
