DWP definition
The DWP describes vulnerability as people identified as having complex needs and/or requiring additional support to help them access DWP benefits and use its services. This could be a claimant, customer, client or any other type of DWP service user. Complex needs means any difficult personal circumstances and/or life events which affects an individual’s ability to access DWP benefits.
