Disconnection and reconnection costs
Electricity suppliers may demand the reasonable expenses of both disconnection and reconnection as well as payment of a security deposit prior to reconnecting the supply.
A gas supplier may demand the expenses of disconnection and reconnection if it has disconnected for failure to pay a deposit.
The supplier is not entitled to payment where the amount of a deposit is genuinely in dispute.
