The Energy Saving Trust (EST) offers free, impartial advice and information via a range of partnerships. The advice service signposts you to organisations that can help with energy saving measures and reduce your fuel bills.

Measures to save energy

EST has produced information on the ways in which you can reduce your fuel bills. Some of these cost-saving measures are at and include:

•draugh-proofing gaps;

•insulating your hot water cylinder;

•switch appliances off standby;

•replace all bulbs with LEDs;

•spending one minute less in the shower each day.
