The following types of capital are disregarded:
■
where capital is payable by instalments, the value of the right to receive any outstanding instalments (see also

);
■
discretionary payments from social care departments to help children in need or to provide help to young care leavers;
■
a refund of tax deducted on loan interest if that loan was taken out to buy the home or carry out repairs or improvements to the home;
