Statutory moratorium
Applying for a statutory moratorium can prevent the creditor from issuing a charge for payment and give you time to work with the client to come up with a suitable strategy. As summary warrant debts must serve a charge for payment before executing diligence, the client could wait until the charge for payment has been served before applying.
