Non-payment
When the client misses two payments, the trustee can write to the client’s employer and ask them to deduct the amount due. This is done on Form 19, available on the AiB website.1legislation.gov.uk/ssi/2016/397/schedule/1 The employer must deduct the money and send it to the trustee. They can also charge for this, on a scale similar to an earnings arrestment.2s94 B(S)A 2016
The trustee can also vary the amount if they see fit.
