Local Authority Delivery
The Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery (LAD) scheme aims to reduce fuel bills by raising the energy efficiency of properties with an energy performance certificate (EPC) ratings of E, F or G. To qualify, your household must have earnings below £30,000 or be getting certain benefits. The maximum subsidy is £10,000 per home.
Phases 1 and 2 of LAD upgraded approximately 50,000 homes with energy efficiency and low-carbon heating up to the end of 2021. LAD phase 3 runs until 31 March 2023. Eligible measures differ in each local authority and may include improvements such as double glazing, insulation, replacing gas boilers with low carbon alternatives and installing solar panels.
