Civil cases relating to the private rented sector are no longer dealt with as a summary cause action raised within the sheriff court. Since 1 December 2017, these cases have been transferred to the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber). This section looks at possession for rent arrears cases.
