Fares to hospital
You qualify for help with the costs of travel to hospital or any other establishment for NHS treatment or services if:
1Regs 3, 5 and 9 NHS(TERC) Regs; regs 3 and 5 NHS(TERC)(W) Regs•you are in one of the exempt groups listed on
here;
or •you live on the Isles of Scilly; or
•your income is low enough (see
here).
Note: in some cases, you can get help with the costs of travel to obtain NHS treatment abroad.
