Part-time students
Part-time students on NHS-funded degree courses are eligible for support, which is paid pro rata, depending on the length of the part-time course. In England, if you are a part-time student who started your course after 1 August 2018, you should apply to the Student Loans Company for the part-time support package (see
here).
The full rate is paid if you have additional costs resulting from a disability and for reimbursing the costs of attending a clinical placement.
