From 23.2.26, if you move permanently to Scotland, you can continue to receive attendance allowance or disability living allowance (DLA) for a run-on period of up to 13 weeks and six days following the move. This is to allow you time to claim pension age disability payment (PADP) or ask to be moved onto Scottish adult DLA. If your attendance allowance or DLA was awarded for a fixed period which is due to end during the run-on period, the run-on period will not be affected.
