The Energy Saving Trust (EST) offers free, impartial advice and information via a range of partnerships. The advice service signposts you to organisations that can help with energy-saving measures and reduce your fuel bills.

Measures to save energy

EST has produced information on how you can reduce your fuel bills. Some of these cost-saving measures are at and include:

•draught-proofing gaps;

•insulating your hot water cylinder;

•switching appliances off standby;

•replacing all bulbs with LEDs;

•spending one minute less in the shower each day.
