Renewable Heat Incentive
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a payment for people living in England, Wales or Scotland for generating heat from renewable sources. The scheme closed to new applicants on 31 March 2022.
You are paid for every kilowatt hour (kWh) of energy produced. The level of payment varies depending on the technology and the system size.
