Cancelling a contractThe normal rule in contract law is that if you sign a contract you are bound by the terms and conditions, even if you have not read it.1See L’Estrange v Graucob [1934] 2 KB 394 Ofgem regulations ensure a 14-day cooling-off period, from the date of signing a contract, during which you have the right to cancel your contract.
