Timetable

Note: if the respondent does not live in a European Union (EU) member state, the last date for service must normally be six weeks before the last date for a response, and if the respondent is a business with no place of business in an EU member state, the last date for service must normally be six weeks before the last date for a response; and

Changing the timetable
The claimant, respondent and the sheriff can request the timetable be changed. This could be because of issues with serving the claim – eg, an address unknown or the form being served late. If the sheriff agrees to the timetable change, the sheriff clerk issues a new timetable to all parties.
