Students in Wales studying for a qualification in social work may qualify for financial help from Social Care Wales. The number of bursaries is restricted: there are 224 available in Wales in 2021/22. Higher education institutions nominate which students should receive support, subject to their meeting the standard eligibility criteria in relation to residency and their personal circumstances.
