Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts/Science with qualified teacher status
The main financial assistance available if you are studying for a BEd, BA or BSc qualification is the basic undergraduate student support package outlined in
Chapter 2. This includes all supplementary grants and access to any hardship funds. Former military personnel training to teach certain shortage subjects at undergraduate level, including biology, physics, chemistry, computing, maths or modern foreign languages, may qualify for a bursary support of £40,000 in the later years of your course. There are no further incentives for BEd, BA or BSc with qualified teacher status study in 2021/22.
