This chapter explains how capital affects your entitlement to universal credit. Chapter 22 explains the rules for income support, income-based jobseeker’s allowance, income-related employment and support allowance, and housing benefit (HB) if you and your partner are under pension age. Chapter 23 explains the rules for pension credit and for HB if you or your partner are over pension age. For the capital limits for health benefits, see Chapter 31. There are no capital rules for non-means-tested benefits.
