Counted as income
Full-time student maintenance loan
The maximum loan you are entitled to is treated as income, whatever amount you actually borrow. If you don’t apply for a loan, the decision maker will still take into account the maximum loan you could have got if you had applied; £110 a month is disregarded.
If you are not entitled to a loan but receive a grant, the grant income is taken into account as income, subject to the disregards in
(3) in this chapter
