What happens to your disability benefits? – Disability living allowance (DLA), child disability payment, Scottish adult DLA, personal independence payment (PIP), adult disability payment, attendance allowance and pension age disability payment are payable whether or not you are working. They are not means tested, so earnings do not affect the amount of your benefit.

If you start paid or voluntary work, this is not in and of itself a reason for the DWP to review your PIP award. The DWP can, however, decide to review your award if the particular nature of the work suggests that your care or daily living needs have changed.
