■are nearing the end of your life, ie you have a progressive disease, death from which can reasonably be expected within 12 months;

■are receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy for cancer (or are likely to receive it within six months) or you are recovering from that treatment, and the DWP is satisfied that you should be treated as having a limited capability for work-related activity;

■are pregnant and there would be a serious risk to the health of you or your child if you did work-related activity;

■(for ESA) are entitled to universal credit and have already been found to have a limited capability for work-related activity under that benefit;

■have a specific disease or bodily or mental disablement and consequently there would be a ‘substantial risk’ to the mental or physical health of any person if you were found not to have
