If you get a war disablement pension or have had a gratuity for your disability, you may qualify for help with your care home fees from Veterans UK. It can cover medical treatment, nursing home fees and respite breaks that you need wholly or mainly because of that disability. These services are not means tested, but you must apply before arranging them.
