7. Using your MP
If you are not satisfied with the response from the officers to whom you have complained, you may wish to take up the matter with your MP. Your MP may also be able to help if you are getting no response to your complaint.
Your MP may want to write to the benefit authority for an explanation of what has happened. If you want to make a complaint to the Parlimentary and Health Service Ombudsman, you must usually do so through your MP.
