5. Your home
You cannot generally be treated as occupying more than one home. Exceptions apply, depending on which benefit you are getting.
If you are getting universal credit, the circumstances in which you can be treated as occupying more than one home, or treated as occupying a home that you are not currently living in, are similar to those that apply for the universal credit housing costs amount (with the exception of the condition that applies to large families).
