Rates of government support
This Handbook is up to date at 31 January 2022 and is intended to be used for the academic year 2021/22.
Rates of student support, benefits and tax credits used are those for the 2021/22 academic year. Benefit and tax credit rates will be uprated in April 2022 (these 2022/23 rates are usually available from January so are included in the preliminary rates charts on preceding pages, though rises in rates are not guaranteed), whereas student support rates will be uprated, where applicable, in September 2022.
