The rules in this chapter can apply if you, your partner and child are
not all British or Irish citizens. Since the end of the transition period that followed the UK leaving the European Union (11pm on 31 December 2020), the immigration status restrictions on benefits can extend to European Economic Area (EEA) as well as non-EEA nationals. In all cases, you must satisfy the residence and presence requirements in
Chapter 69.
