Under 19 in full-time advanced education

If you are under 19 and in full-time advanced education rather than in non-advanced education, the rules are the same as for those aged 19 or over. You count as a full-time student if you are ‘attending or undertaking a full-time course of advanced education’.1Reg 61(1), definition of ‘full-time student’, IS Regs What is or is not a full-time course is the same as for over-19 year olds (see here).
