2. Getting paid
Once Social Security Scotland (SSS) has made a determination that you are entitled to benefit, you must be paid. For details of how you are paid, see the chapter in this part of the Handbook about the benefit you have claimed.
Once you are receiving a Scottish benefit, you can ask for it to be stopped at any time.
If you have an ongoing entitlement to a Scottish benefit, SSS will inform you about your responsibility to report any changes in your circumstances. You must be advised what changes you need to report and how to report them.
