School clothing grants

In Scotland, local authorities pay school clothing grants to low-income families. Policies vary but the grants must be at least £120 per child of primary school age and at least £150 per child of secondary school age. The eligibility criteria for school clothing grants are usually similar to the criteria for free school meals (see here) on the basis of low income.
